Vehicle Detail

1995 GTI VR6 for sale. 161xxx miles. Bought it a few months ago as a project car with a blown head gasket. Currently the car runs and drives, I've driven it a few weeks up to this point. Here is what has been done to the car: New Head Gasket w/ new Head Bolts Cylinder Head Disassembled and Resurfaced. New Valve stem seals and hydraulic lifters installed during process. New Gaskets: Intake Manifold (Upper and lower), Exhaust manifold, Exhaust downpipe flanges, Valve Cover, Throttle Body, Thermostat housing. New: Thermostat, Water Pump, Coolant flushed and G12 added, Upper Timing Chain Guide(Towards front of engine), Rear Wheel Bearings and Seals, Resurfaced Brake Rotors all around, Brake pads all around, Brake fluid flushed, Rear struts. Has a 42 draft designs stainless steel crack pipe, 42 dd pcv fix and SAI plug. SAI and EGR systems have been deleted off the car. The interior is in great shape, heated front seats, no tears, just a little wear on the driver bolster. As for what still needs to be repaired: Reason I'm selling at this point, the upper timing chain guide towards the rear of the engine which the tensioner rides on is bad. Drove the car on and off for a few weeks, and now it started rattling. It was almost worn through during my initial repair, but I was going to do a full timing chain job in a few months when I did the clutch so I left it and just replaced the front one that was snapped in half. Cluster doesn't work, as usual. Heater core, according to PO, is blown, so the two hoses are just connected together in the engine bay. I have a new uninstalled heater core that will go with it. And the body is far from pristine. There's a dent in the rear driver side, should pop out somewhat easily. The more noticeable piece is the passenger side quarter panel. PO fishtailed into a tree, and damaged the first foot or so of the rear. I cut the old panel out, and started to weld a new one in, but didn't finish. It's secure and solid right now, just looks bad. Various small patches of rust popping up on the rear tailgate, etc etc. Im probably forgetting some parts I've replaced, and some other issues with the car, but it isn't being sold as a ready to go DD. And of course sold AS-IS.
