Vehicle Detail
this is a 1950 ford truck sitting on a 1990 ford ranger frame. it has the ranger motor and transmission in it.. so there for, it is a 4 cyl. 5 speed truck with disc brakes, powers steering and powere brakes. it has the ranger dash, and all the lights are 12 volt. the lights, turn signals and most of the gauges work. the body is very good, the cab corners are just about perfect. i believe there is no mud in the cab corners. there is alittle putty at the bottom of the front fenders by the running boards. a small amount where the front fender brace is. the doors are great not perfect but very good. the rear fenders have a small amount of putty on the back where the fenders join the bed, but not much. the floor in the cab has a little rust, i took a close up of it., but not to bad. the glass is all new except the wing windows, but the windsheild has a crack in it. the only ugly thing on the truck is how they mounted the dash. they just cut a hole and tried to insert the ranger dash, looks rigged. the fuel tank is under the bed,but the fuel filler comes thru the floor in the bed. i cut the bottom out of the sunoco can to hide the filler cap. the floor of this truck is made of oak and is in good shape. the tail gate is in good shape and works. this truck would be a great little parts runner. if you want a show truck, this will not be it. if you want a cool little cruiser, then come check it out. i have a clear indiana title for this truck, it is titled as a 1950. this truck was 5 different colors when i bought it. i did alittle sanding and painted it but, i am not a professional, so do not expect that kind of result. if you lived close you could drive it home. but i would not drive it cross country. i never drove it more than 10 miles from my house. did not have any problems, but i do not know if it will do cross country with out any issues. any questions give me a call. i am selling this with no reserve 330-280-0926 mickOn Jan-12-13 at 19:37:05 PST, seller added the following information: sorry folks forgot to say this has no heater, wipers or shocks. that is how i got it. but it runs and drives good.On Jan-13-13 at 11:46:51 PST, seller added the following information: sorry about the pict of dash. i thought it was on. and once the auction started i was not able to change it. the ranger insturment cluster was fitted to the 50's dash they cut a hole the size of the cluster and mounted it in. if they mounted it behind the hole they cut and let it stick thru it would look better. but the rest of the dash is untouched. the radio and front speaker holes and glove box are all still there.
