Vehicle Detail

I purchased this Charger in 1968. It has been in the family ever since. It comes with the original 318 engine and transmission which have 25,000 miles on them since overhauled. This has the sports steering wheel and console. It has factory air that has been retrofitted to R-134a, a working clock, working radio, working panel dimmer switch, working headlight doors and working hood mounted turn signal indicators. The seat belts have been restored and the gauges have been both restored and refaced (not decals). This vehicle has had sheet metal work. No ripples when you sight down the sides. A very clean automobile. No undercarriage restoration but has a good muffler, tail pipe, tie rod ends and tires. The wheel covers were an option in 1968. The paint is beautiful and in excellent condition with a few minor imperfections. Empty weight is 3454 lbs. Has original owners manual and some repair manuals. Comes with a custom cover. Build sheet is in back seat cushion. Please feel free to email me for specifics, questions and comments. If you are a purist, you have found a Charger that is as original as you can get. A mechanic incorrectly painted the engine blue rather than Hemi orange. There are a couple of very small hard to see dents, a bird poop stain (about the size of a dime). There is one very small area where there are a few tiny blisters in the paint that appear hard and secure. This vehicle always manages to win something at every show entered. When I had it appraised I was told that it is a #2 car. Since taking the picture of the gauges I have installed a detailed bezel. Clear title. Runs nice. Winning bidder must pay $500 through PayPal within 24 hours. Balance due within 7 days (see acceptable forms of payment). Buyer must pick up or arrange for shipping. On Jan-12-13 at 14:29:18 PST, seller added the following information: A prospective bidder, who is also a mechanic, drove from Kansas City to examine the car. Here is what he told me: 1. Coolant leak 2. Main bearing leak 3. Bad shocks 4. Cracks in tires. I will gracefully honor all bid retractions and sorry for any inconvenience.
