Oh boy! We at Masterpiece have sold many '66 Chevrolet Novas’ but none as fine and divine as this latest example. Fully restored and travelling lightly since, this one is stellar all around.
The exterior was refinished in the factory original Aztec Bronze which was laid down masterfully over clean and straight sheet metal. The panel gaps are far better than factory standards of the day as is the entire presentation. The chrome, glass and other trim pieces are a mix of restored and original but all present beautifully.
Inside you will find the same degree of care and expert craftsmanship. The front bucket seats and the rear bench were professionally reupholstered in the original Light Fawn vinyl. Similarly, the carpets, headliner, door panels and dashboard are all in excellent form. The factory standard gauges are all in place and functioning, except of course for the clock. The radio was updated some time ago into a AM/FM/Cassette format and is in working order. Take note of that very cool center console with the custom chrome plating. It was produced and fitted by an adept craftsman and dresses up the Nova's interior very nicely.
The original 283 V8 is still in place and our 4 Barrel power plant has been rebuilt and upgraded. The rebuilt 2 speed automatic Power Glide transmission functions flawlessly as the motor runs through the gears. The original 10 bolt rear is also performing its duties without complaint. The Chevy is equipped with front power disc brakes which is a welcome and needed accessory for this very capable '60's muscle car. We have 14" Rally Wheels surrounded by R/T radials with great tread. There is also a fresh full size spare in the trunk, if needed. The undercarriage images further prove this is one solid performer with generations of lucky drivers still ahead.
