This is a Brand NEW 1971 Mach 1! As new in 1971. Correct, no stories and runs like NEW!! Thanks for looking! This Mach 1 is a 3 owner car sold new in Chehalis, WA. The current owner is a serious enthusiast who is looking to gain space for other vehicles. The current owner searched for the finest Mach 1 he could find and then had this car fully sorted, and the drivetrain broken in by a vintage Ferrari mechanic with an open checkbook. The previous owner of this car was a former Mustang Club of America president who purchased the car from the original owners in 2000. He then meticiously and sympathetically restored the car to judged MCA Gold show quality over the next 9 years, keeping it as original and correct as possible with the exception of adding disc brakes, Ram Air, and Magnum 500's. The car was completley restored nut and bolt. Engine and Trans pro rebuilt. Correct original carb. The level of originality on the restoration is nothing short of obsessive, almost everything is rebuilt original. This car is the real deal without exception. Car was straight and in storage for almost 20 years before restoration. The body was media blasted and no panels were replaced with the exception of a small trunk floor patch, you cannot descern where however. This is a very hard to find unmolested, and unwrecked Mach 1. The interior is original as is the rest of the bodywork, it is mint. You will find many unobtanium items on this car, such as the correct carpet, it is correct as it is original. The inflate a spare and the can are in the trunk. This car was intended for show and is very, very correct in every way. The current owner has had the vehicle gone over in it's entirety to check suspension and drivetrain torque values and driveability. The carb was dynotuned by a carb shop. It runs and drives as good as it looks. It has approximentaly 1,100 miles on the full restoration/tune and the car has been stored in a climate controlled facility. The milage on odometer is documented. There is a complete history included with the car, Full Marti Report, pictures of the car when new in 1971, and the reciepts from restoration. Also a set of 1971 WA "Dealer" plates are included with the sale. Original keys from 1971. This is one very correct and documented car. There is the original owners manual, warranty book and operating tips in the glovebox as when new from Ford. The cars factory options include the optional rear axle ratio and tach among others. Car includes one set Magnum 500's with correct bias ply tires with about 100 miles on them. Also included is one set New slotted American mags with BFG radial tires with about 1,000 miles on both.
