1966 Ford Thunderbird Q Code (Fresh 428 engine with less than 1,500 miles) 81,000 original miles and does not have air conditioning so it is fast and strong, originally delivered in San Jose CA. New or rebuilt items: Transmission, front suspension, steering, exhaust (Magna Flow), alternator, battery (under warranty), starter, master brake cylinder and all four brake cylinders, radiator, high volume aluminum fan, hoses, belts, water reservoir, carburetor, K&N air filter,electronic ignition, plug wires, voltage regulator, tires, door panels, carpet, and engine compartment paint. Window control switches on console. The front seats have been re-upholstered and the back seats have been dyed to match (light gray) along with the dash, overhead console, and trim. Main console has faux silver carbon fiber with black faux carbon fiber trim. Custom features: LED Audi style running lights (front), LED charger style tail lights. shaved door handles with remote entry and shaved emblems. IPod dock and charging station on consol with separate booster amp and speakers incorporated in rear passenger arm rests., green LED under dash courtesy lights, (3) USB ports in dash (1 on drivers side and 2 on passenger side for laptop or tablet. Magellan7" navigation on dash. Valentine 1 radar detector with remote display. Extra gauges for time,. temperature and compass on dash. Overhead consol has been customized with LED lighted toggle switches for emergency flashers and kill switch. Needed: Headliner (easy fix),and courtesy light lenses. Sequential flasher (about $100.00). The fuel and temp gauges need an under dash resister. Rubber weather-stripping (I have the door and window weather stripping to be installed after paint, but not the trunk. A complete trunk kit can be bought for under $200.00. including cardboard. I have all the body and window moldings to be reinstalled after paint. Car is currently in gray primer that has been extensively block sanded, but needs to be detailed around the edges. The top is in black primer and needs to be extensively blocked. The landau bars have been removed (but I still have them). Just waiting for you to prep and paint this car the color of YOUR choice. I'm selling because I am moving to Texas next month for a new job and I will not have the time or place to finish it. This car has been a labor of love for the last 10 years and I am sorry I must part with it now. It runs great is very dependable and sounds fantastic. Clean title in hand with California registration good until June 2013. I drive it regularly and no smog is required so it's ready to go.
