1968 Chevy Nova SS 350, Item re listed due to ded beet bidder, bidder clams car isn't what listed in ad... Car is exactly as discribed This Nova is a fun reliable car to drive and race. I believe it to be a mid 13s car. prospect buyers are welcomed to contact me to come see it drive it and take it to a mechanic! Car is smooth, runs amazing, fires first try every time, doesn't leak a drop of anything!!!! DRIVE TRAIN 1. Four speed manual transmission, super T-10 with new hays performance clutch, high performance work done to the transmission 2. Ten bolt, 4-11 rear axle, Rebuilt from drum to drum with new gears (not sure of the brand of gears) 3. Rebuilt 350 cid Chevy engine, mild cam, 650 Holley double pumper, HEI distributor, long tube headers, Edelbrock manifold, ported and polished 3 angled valve job on heads (stock iron heads) New water pump, new fuel pump, new alternator. Low miles on a professionally built small block. The engine has a lot of dependable power. Not sure on H.p.? It feels like it's in the neighborhood of 300-315? 4. New Flowmaster mufflers. I believe they're series 40? Pipes are new and dump at the rear axle. Exhaust was professionally installed. COOLING SYSTEM 1. Direct fit performance radiator, new hoses, new thermostat, new coolant, (radiator needs a shroud) The car runs at 185 all the time. NEVER OVERHEATS FUEL SYSTEM 1. Gas tank has built with a fuel sump. has to external lines to run a electric fuel pump, new fuel lines SUSPENSION 1. Front springs are for a big block (formally had a big block Chevy) the front end sits high. I haven't change the springs up front. I would recommend changing the springs to small block springs. The car has new steering components. It will need an alignment when the proper springs are installed. all the ball joints and bushings are in excellent shape. They look like the were replaced? I don't know for sure? 2. Frame Ties professionally installed 3. The rear of the car has a coil over suspension along with a cal track type ladder bar set up 4. Mini tubs professionally installed, these tubs look amazing to say the least, both sides are even, back seat was adjusted to fit, can't tell the're done unless you look for them. you can fit a 12 inch tire easily with no clearence issues at all 5. The car has manual disc brakes, all new parts the car stops straight and on a dime. 6. Tires are in great shape INTERIOR 1. All the door panels, dash, dash pad, gauge cluster, column are in excellent condition, Has oil pressure and water tempeture gauges. Both work properly. Dash lights work 2. Needs a headliner, The carpet looks good, kick panels are also very nice. Lighter does not work. There's no glove box in the car. I have a replacement box. I need the lock for it, This is why it hasn't been installed. Dome light needs a bulb. Heater works good!! Working wipers, turn signals work, hazards work and dimmer works too 3. I have installed a bench seat in the car, I'm a big guy! The bench seat is more comfortable than bucket seats. I still have the 69 Camaro bucket seats that came with the car. (I will include them with the car for an extra $300.00 dollars) 4. It has a hurst shifter along with a rubber boot Overall the interior is in great shape. All the glass is in great shape, every window goes up and down with ease It also comes with a cd player with an Ipod hookup Two new 6x9's in the rear deck Body, Frame and Floors 1. The body is 99% rust free! Excellent shape!!!! The car is originally a medium blue. The paint passes at five feet. It looks good and shines it's just not show quality. The drivers front fender needs to be re-aligned. All the trim is there and looks good. The hood lip is a little dinged up. 2. The floors trunk and frame are rust free. Original floor pans and trunk pans This Nova is a great fun car!!! It's beyond solid rides straight, looks great! Starts every single time on the first crank (even in the cold) Car moves!!! super fun to drive, extremley reliable and fast.
