Classic for sale. Unique 1964 Chevrolet Corvair Greenbrier van that original owner chopped to make into a Rampside. This has been my DAILY driver for much of 2012, but its also spent time in the shop getting NEW brakes, tires, tune-up, gas tank cleaned and sealed, NEW coil, NEW plug wires. I thought I could restore it, but I was wrong and I can't find a Corvair mechanic. So, after investing $2,500, I'm folding and letting someone else finish the job. 66,000 miles and I believe they are original (based on receipts from 1980s). NEW belt. Good strong engine and this may be the only Corvair in existence that doesn't leak oil. Automatic transmission. Nice bench seat. Headlights work and so does left turn signal and parking brake. The bad: transmission slips sometimes, lots of rust, no tail/brake lights, no blower, cracked windshield, after-market radio doesn't work. I'm taking a loss, but my limit was $2,500 and I underestimated how much needed to be done. My loss is your gain. You can drive it if you fix the brake/tail lights, but you might feel safer trailering it.
