The two door hatchback was dropped, while the coupe, sedan, wagon and convertible carried over. The sedan and wagon were unchanged from the doors back, while the coupe's exterior was completely redesigned. This resulted in different trunk designs for the coupe and sedan. Three trim levels were available in 1988: VL, RS, and Z24. The convertible was only available as a Z24. The VL and RS came standard with the 2.0 L L4 engine producing 90 hp, while the 2.8 L V6 producing 125 hp was optional on the RS and standard on the Z24.With all trims, 5-speed manual transmission was standard, and a 3-speed automatic was optional, however the vast majority of sedans and wagons had a 3-speed automatic. An electronic dashboard was available with the RS and Z24 trims. 1994 models were carryovers, as a new model of Cavalier was in development. The VL trim was dropped on the wagon, while the 2.2L was now the SFI version borrowed from the Corsica, which delivered an output pf 120 horsepower. We require a $250 non refundable deposit immediately after winning the auction. You may pay this deposit via paypal. This deposit is non-refundable in the event of non-payment. We encourage you to inspect and test drive the vehicle BEFORE bidding, if you prefer not to inspect before bidding and you win the auction, and you do not complete full payment of the vehicle you will forfeit your deposit. Please do not bid on our vehicles unless you are prepared to win and pay for the vehicle.
.::Paying for your vehicle::.
Winning bidder must send $250.00 deposit immediately after the auction closes via PayPal and contact the dealership within 24 hours after the auction close to arrange full payment which is required within 3 days. Pick up or shipment of your vehicle is required within 14 days unless other arangments are made. We do not accept PayPal for full payment. Cash in person or cashiers checks are our acceptable payment methods. Due to fraud, at this time we are unable to accept credit cards or personal checks.
.::Vehicle Shipping::.
We do not provide shipping for any of our vehicles or motorcycles. Buyer is responsible to arrange shipping if needed. We will cooperate with your shipping company. Vehicles are available for pickup Mon-Fri between 10am & 5pm ONLY.
.::Vehicle Pickup::.
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY (Mon-Sat 10-5pm) After deposit has been sent, please contact us by phone within 24 hours after the auction has ended to make an appointment to pick up your vehicle. Full payment is due within 3 days after auction has ended. After vehicle is paid in full, we will hold the vehicle up to 30 days at no additional charge. Vehicles are available for buyer pickup Mon-Sat 10-5pm.
Fee and Tax Information: We have no additional fees or documentation fees that are added to your final bid, what you bid is what you pay. We are in business to sell cars, not collect meaningless fees.
Taxes & Registration (required by law)
Insurance is required to obtain all license plates
PA Residents pay PA Sales Tax and registration fees to a local private tag agency.
Out of State Residents will need a 30 day temporary transit plate (if not shipping vehicle) this temporary plate is purchased at a local PA private tag agency at an additional cost as low as $55 (depending on agency) You must pay your taxes and register your vehicle in your home state within 30 days.
