5 DAY AUCTION 1932 Oldsmobile Boat-tail Speedster RACER CAR 1932 Oldsmobile Boat-tail Speedster RACER CAR Up for sale is another great classic car, brought to you by Halberd Classics LLC, Antique & Exotic Automobile Brokerage. Whether you are looking for a fun vehicle to drive to dinner in, attending a steeplechase race, or looking to vintage automobile race; this one of a kind 1932 Speedster assures you will be doing it in style. This is the perfect opportunity to get into the very rare classic 1930’s Speedster that you have been looking for. This 1932 Oldsmobile Boat-tail Speedster was restored some years ago, but has been excellently maintained since. The vehicle has seen just over 3,500 miles since the body off restoration. The neat thing about this car is that the fenders can all be removed in about 30 minutes, for vintage racing, or left on when road touring. This Racer is equipped with the original 1932 Oldsmobile straight 8 and 3 speed transmission. The transmission also has the coasting leaver, which acts as a period overdrive of sorts. The motor fires right up on the first crank, each and every time. The transmission shifts very smoothly through all gears. The tires are like new and still show the feeler bumps on the tread. The dark red interior is in very nice condition complements the body color very nicely. The body was painted correctly in a 3 stage paint. This was a frame off restoration and the frame, axels, etc. were all blasted and repainted in the interior matched dark red. The undersides of the fenders were also painted in the same red. There are scratches and nicks in the paint that are expected with a driven car, and not a trailer queen. The paint does shine nicely and is very presentable. The car is very rust free and the body is incredibly straight. If you have been looking for a 1930’s Boattail Speedster that can comfortably hit the open road with today, this is the perfect vehicle for you. The vehicle is for sale locally, so we reserve the right to end the auction early, before the reserve is broken. This is a 5 day auction and the reserve has been set VERY low, so bid with confidence and bid to own.
