This auction is for a 1933 Continental Beacon 2 door sedan. This is a very rare car that was made only 2 years and not many are left at all. I aqcuired this car from a older gentleman who has had this car for about 15 years working on it. As you can see in the pictures I have original motor that was rebuilt several years ago but was never installed (THE ORIGINAL ENGINE IS NOT INCLUDED IN AUCTION BUT IS AVAILABLE TO HIGH BIDDER) the owner decided to hot rod car instead. Car has a `Chevy V8 along with a turbo 350 trans and a 9 in ford rear end. I have doors, fenders hood, grille and bumpers for car along with seats. Now for terms of sale. Buyer agrees t0 send a $300.00 deposit and pay balance with in 10 days of close of auction. Buyer also agrees to arrange shipping and pick-up of vehicle. Let me start off with the wheel base on car is 101inches. The wire wheels go with auction and I have one additional wheel and tire also that goes with car. You can go to Google and type in 1933 Continental Beacon and read about car, I have not found any pictures of any more 2 door sedans other that the ones in catalog. I also have the original 1933 Continental Beacon sales brochure that I will include with sale of car.On Dec-22-12 at 19:05:45 PST, seller added the following information: Last update. I have been emailed about running gear in car./ The fellow I bought car from installed a low mileage motor and transmission from a wrecked low mileage car and running gear was in very good condition when he installed it. Car has motor installed along with transmission and drive shaft hooked up and rear end. Car has disc brakes on front and drum on rear and will need brake system finished. The steering is original and is intact and car steers and is rolling and would be easy to load on carrier. I have 2 of the side glass for patterens so glass will be easy to cut. The doors are hung on car but will need to be aligned and door latches are out as you can see in pictures but are included.
