Vehicle Detail
This car has been a wonderful addition to my home now for a couple of years, and I truly have enjoyed having it. The vehicle was a very low production vehicle, making it a less common car on the streets. This really allows for you to stand out and show off the classic styling of this vehicle. I would like to begin by telling you that it does have a starting issue that is standard on these vehicles. In addition to that, there is a missing traction control sensor under the front right brake. Cruise control does not function properly, and the driver seat has tear. The front passenger tire has a slow leak, and the ac/heat does not work, as well as the horn is not working. The cluster malfunctions, and recently a newly replaced cv axle went. That I have a receipt for and just needs to be replaced. You can get the part for free from advanced auto with said receipt. It is also in need of an oil change, due to sitting for quite some time. Because of these reasons, I am selling it at such a low buy is now price. You are responsible to pick it up and drive it away or get it towed. I would also like to tell you about all of the features that originally came with this vehicle. The car is equipped with a 250 horsepower, 250 foot lbs of torque Cadillac Northstar 4.0 L Engine. This engine does not disappoint, for power or reliability. Equipped with leather seats, motorised front seat adjustments, CD player and tape deck, automatic antenna, automatic running lights, tilt steering pedal, 4 way disk brakes, and a well tuned Automatic Transmission tuned standard. This car is the perfect mixture of luxury and practicability. Recently, I have made some major replacements and improvements on this vehicle. I would like to explain each of these upgrades to help you understand the amount of new equipment that this vehicle currently has. To begin, I have replaced the alternator on this vehicle. This was done not so much as a necessity, but as a preventative form of maintenance. The car does have some mileage on it, so before I found myself stranded due to a failing alternator, I went ahead and replaced it. Another recently replacement on the vehicle was the replacement of the original radiator. The radiator that was in there had sprung a leak, so the radiator and multiple hoses were replaced approximately one year ago. This system has been running fine ever since it was replaced, and has had no further leaking issues to date. Continuing down the list, we have the brakes, which were recently replaced and heavily worked on to ensure their reliability. This was done only a few months ago, and the car has been driven very little mileage since this work was performed. Also changed recently were the shocks and struts for the vehicle. This was done to try to ensure the enjoyable nature of the driving of this vehicle. One thing you must understand about these vehicles is that they have a system that is known as air shocks. Anti lock brakes and traction control not working. Air shocks are essentially what they sound like. They are shock absorbers that use air instead of springs to allow for a smoother shock absorption and cleaner ride. This addition to the vehicle does make it much more enjoyable to ride. In addition to the shocks and struts, I also have replaced the ball joints on this system. They have had about the same amount of mileage put on them as the brake master cylinder, as you will see below, and replaced right around the same time. Since I was replacing these as well as the shocks and struts, it only seemed fitting to replace the outer tie rod ends as well, which have been replaced and are new. The struts on this car, however, are your standard gas filled struts that you would get on any average car. All in all, the ride-ability of this vehicle is quite enjoyable. Another new item on this vehicle is the brake master cylinder. This was a wear and tear item that was replaced within the past 6 months. These tend to go bad around 100k miles, and has only had about 3k miles put on it since it was replaced. As you can see, for the price and the amount of new hardware that you would be getting, this car is definitely worth the money. I hope whoever gets this car will love it the way I do.
