Up for bidding is my 1986 Ford Mustang hatchback. The vehicle does not have a current inspection. The engine is a 5.0 with an Edelbrock carburetor and an Edelbrock performer RPM intake. The engine is mostly stock besides the carb and intake. The engine has a new water pump in July 2011. It has a full Procomp ignition system( 6AL ignition box, coil, and distributor) and new spark plugs that were all installed in July of 2011. The transmission is a T5 5speed. I'm not sure of the age of the clutch, but it feels very strong and engages properly without any slipping. It sounds good and shifts well into all the gears. It also has a short throw shifter. The rearend is a posi with unknown gears. The exhaust is 2 1/2 inch Flowmaster American Thunder mufflers, an unknown brand, X pipe with catalytic converters and the stock headers. It will need tailpipes for inspection. The exterior is black with grey on the hood. It has a factory sunroof that doesn't leak. The paint is fading but will buff and wax up to a good shine. The body has some dings on it and a couple of spots of rust. The worst spot of rust is a hole on the front passenger fender around the lip of the wheel well (seen in the pictures). Theres another spot where its just bubbled on the driver's side behind the rear wheel. The interior is grey tweed from an 87-89 Mustang with black carpet. The seats are in decent shape, with no rips or tears. The rear seats just need to be installed. The dash pad is cracked and missing parts of the speaker grills. The dash pad is not installed in the pictures. The wheels that are currently on it are Weld drag lites. The vehicle is being sold with 87-93 Mustang turbine style rims with tires. The turbine rims are in good condition. The clear coat on the rims is cracked. The Weld drag lites are not included, but could be for an additional cost.
