Vehicle Detail

1966 Ford Fairlane 500 (GTA clone) for sale - Fall/Winter Special Re-Listed with lower reserve, don't miss out on this one My 1966 Ford Fairlane is being offered with a very reasonable reserve.. I purchased the car last January on e-bay for $12,000.00, spent the winter restoring it, drove it thru the spring, summer & fall, now i want to get into a 1956 Chevy 2dr sedan, trades for a 56 welcome... The car is extremely nice, very fun to drive, and although it's not a show car, it is a very presentable driver... I would put the paint at a solid 8 out of 10... Engine/tranny - Both were rebuilt by the previous owner and have less than 2500 miles on them, the engine is a 390ci/335hp, stock rebuild, very strong, the tranny is a C6 with a shift kit, firm shift 1-2 (chirps tires), firm shift from 2-3... The rear is a stock rear, not sure of the gears (tach at approx 2300 on hwy)... Tires are Cooper and the wheels are Rocket Racing, all brand new.. Rear are 23570R15 on 7" rims and front are 21570R15 on 6" rims.. The car has a new 2 1/4" dual exhaust (with H-pipe) thru 40 series Flowmaster mufflers, sounds awesome.... Nice stance, nice sound... The paint is fresh, 2 stage red, and looks great, the GT stripes are painted on... The interior is also extremly nice, GT buckets, no tears, GT console, new door and rear GT panels, new dash cover, new fairlane floor mats. The rear seat does not have the GT pattern, but is in nice condition... The carpet, headliner, sunvisors, etc. are in nice shape.. Take a look at the pics... The stereo, am/fm CD, is mounted under the dash with custom stainless brackets, there is a stainless radio delete plate installed.... New Sunpro tack and gauges, water temp & oil pressure... Does not run hot and has good oil pressure.. The car has all new weather seals, door, cowl, roof rail, window fuzzies, trunk, etc.. The window regulators (all 4) have been removed, cleaned, rebuilt (all new nylon rollers).. The windows roll up and down nice.. The door hinges are new, doors open and close perfect... The front end is tight, just aligned, and the brakes are all new, drums on all 4 corner... The car drives straight and stops straight, does not pull at all.. You can drive this car anywhere... Remember, it is not a $40,000.00 show car, but after investing more than $20,000.00 it is a real nice car, way beyond your average driver... Last time this car will be listed until spring, at a higher reserve... The winning bidder must send a deposit of $500.00, paypal is fine, within 3 days of the end of the auction, and must pay the balance in full, cash or bank check, within 7 days of the end of the auction.. Shipping arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the winning bidder.. You can reach me at (516) 428-2379 if you hav eany questions.. If you are unsure of anything, please ask before bidding... Good luck bidding, Glenn
