You are bidding on a 2004 Mazda Rx8. I am the second owner of the car, I have a brand new set of spark plugs and wires I was about to put in when I was driving it out to my brother-in-laws house to do and the car died on me. From everything that I've researched I had an Apex seal go out on me and I just dont have the time or money to stick into it to fix it. The car was financed under my fiances name and she just ended up walking out on me and moving to another state so I financed another vehicle in my name and paid this one off. I recently put a new 6 pluck clutch in it and a higher performance flywheel, I'd say less than 2k miles ago. The car has a few minor dings n dents here and there, nothing you wouldnt expect from an 8 yr old vehicle and the windshield is also cracked. The car is being sold as is because of the Apex seal being out. If you are a mechanic this might be a very easy fix for you otherwise I heard it costs anywhere from $500-$1000 to get fixed. I paid a little over 10k for the car about two years ago and I guess I'm just ready to take a significant loss on it so I can have some money for the holidays. Buyer must put down $200 upon winning the auction and then pay the rest of the money when the vehicle is picked up, buyer is also in charge of picking up the vehicle or having it hauled away. On Dec-14-12 at 08:07:47 PST, seller added the following information: I was recently informed by someone that the motor might be under factory warranty because it is under 100k miles. I don't have a mazda dealer near by that I could ask, the one we had in our town shut down. So there is a good possibility that whoever buys this car could get a factory replacement motor, I hope so anyways, good luck bidding, it is very close to my reserve price and I would like to see it go to a good home and then I could have a little extra spending money for Xmas, thanks
