Vehicle Detail

This is the famous Turbo Diesel that lasts forever. The mileage is a little over 313,000 and the engine has been replaced. The transmission shifts a little jerky and there is NO REVERSE. The Air is cold and the Heat is Warm. Drives wonderfully, as fast as you want to go. The last owner appears to have had it, as the second owner, since 1995. It was full of bobby pins and little tiny pencils, and the drivers seat is like new. The engine has been replaced and is excellent. The car has been babied and kept indoors. It was taken good care of until she died, and it was then donated to Saint Vincent DePaul Hospital. Tires are good, Michelins, and the brakes are good. Dashboard is not cracked and that means it was not kept in the Louisiana sun very much. The main significant problems are the Transmission, a crack on the windshield, needs painting of the hood, roof, and trunk where the carwash ruined the paint; Radio and antenna don't work; could be a connection. It has a current inspection through the end of December and the windshield crack will pass since it doesn't obscure vision. The pristine value of this car is about $5500 but I have no idea what to ask for one like this. I have set a $1000 minimum because I can sell the parts for that much. The seats are worth about $400 each and the engines go for anything from $400 to $1500. I don't ship stuff so arrange that yourself if you like. Can't find any traces of any accidents or body damage. It has been Louisiana all its life and rust is not an issue. Scammers note; No one picks up anything until the check clears! (Get a job!) I would like a $500 deposit to hold it. Then, If you change your mind, you get HALF of that back. If you do like it, you pay the rest in cash at that time. I don't have enough years left to bother with bums and funny stuff. If you can deal with the transmission issue, and the other trivia, this is the buy of a lifetime.
