1974 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser from the south! I bought this rig out of Alabama last October, did not drive it in snow, it has never seen salt! The previous owner did most of the work 5-6 years ago, I have had it just over a year - I love the truck, but I need to sell, I don’t have enough time and have too many toys! This FJ is a blast to drive; it’s great off the pavement yet behaves nicely on the road with power steering and brakes. It’s a real head turner, always getting smiles and compliments. It’s rare to find a Vintage Off Roader with a V-8 Big Block, Full Power steering and Hydraulic disk Brakes! It is registered and passed NYS inspection no problems! The body is solid, especially for this year of FJ! Exterior has an ok paint job, (looks great from 5' away) but absolutely no rust through or holes. The Frame is solid, it was stripped and repainted. Interior is Rhino Lined black, nothing fancy, just functional, includes rear bench seat Riding on 37" Military Style Mud Terrains with full size spare on swing out carrier Fully welded frame supported roll cage for safety Font end: Ford 1977 Dana 44 HD, 4.88 gears, Lock Right, disk brakes Rear end: Dodge 1975 Dana 70, 4.88 gears, Lock Right, Chevy disk brake conversion Motor: Ford 1970 429 -- DOVE heads, 600 Edelbrock Carb Transmission: Ford C-6 with HURST Racing Shifter Transfer case: Ford 205 Brake Booster / master cylinder: 1995 Toyota truck 2wd Newer Bestop Soft Top, excellent condition, no rips or tears I recently installed a Summit Racing Aluminum Radiator, new water pump and thermostat.
