This 1946 Mercury Woodie Wagon is being offered for sale for the first time since coming from California some years ago. I got the car by way of a trade with a very good friend of mine. This is a very original and mostly rust free car as you would expect a car from California to be. Many years ago it was repainted in a high quality manner. The interior was recently upgraded with seat covers and carpets. All gauges, lights, and heater work as they should. There has been much mechanical work done to the engine and it certainly shows in the manner in which the whisper quiet flat head V8 runs. The chrome is good driver quality as are the tires and roof. This is a vehicle you can drive and enjoy as is or turn it into a show car with a little ambition. The frame and floors are excellent with only some minor patchwork on the rear floor. (I have an original piece to replace the bad spot) I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere.
