This 1965 Ford Mustang is searching for a good home. She is a true original California car and has been in Louisiana since November 24-2012. The engine fires right up and runs strong, with less than 10,000 miles on rebuilt, 289ci V8 with 2 barrel carburetor. Transmission shifts smooth and true. Pony interior is clean with new factory carpet, new dashboard pad and new headliner. The interior and exterior has been freshly painted which is about 10 month old (base coat /clear coat finished). Clean under carriage with all new floorboards, new weather stripping, and new 195/75/R14 tires on original steel wheels with Mustang hub-caps. Shows 49,031 miles but true mileage is unknown. Reason for sale, I thought I would like to have my first teenage car again, but I just don't need it and I need the room in my garage. She has been parked since I got her. This is a 47 year old car that still runs & look good. All in all this Mustang is not flawless or a show car but it's far cleaner than most you'll see. She needs a little TLC.
