1961 Buick LeSabre Rare Bubble-top w/ Matching Numbers Here is possibly one of the most original and best survived cars you will find for sale! I don’t know how many Bubble-top Buicks were produced, but this car is amazing and runs and drives just as good as it looks! It has matching numbers for 364 c.i. engine and trans, the engine bay has original paint and I don’t think the engine has ever been out. The trunk also has original paint with some surface rust under the mat, the trunk mat is in poor shape. The underside of the car (see pictures) is original paint and the car was never undercoated “Amazing” again only surface rust. NO RUST Problems in the car. The Interior is original and amazing condition! Carpets are original, front seat has a couple of small tears about 1 ½” max at stitching, could be repaired to original. All the dash and lights work except the radio. I am having the bottom of the door panels repaired as that is the worst of the interior. (See pictures) The car has a older exterior respray, not by me, and has some bubbling mostly on the trunk lid, believed to be reaction not rust. The front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed and are HIGH Quality. This is not a trailer queen and I think it is very close to a #2 car with some additional detailing. I love this car but finances dictate I have to sell it. It is a Gorjous car and a dream to drive. If anyone knows how many of these Buicks sold, let me know. Feel free to ask questions.
