This Limited Grand Cherokee needs a motor. It does not run. On the Saturday after Thanksgiving the engine died while on our way to get our Christmas tree. It had been making a knocking noise for some time and my mechanic told me that I basically needed another engine. I put $1600 worth of repairs into it in August with the thought of buying a used motor when the original died but have decided to sell it instead. All other mechanical systems work fine. All lights work, a/c blows cold, all dials and knobs are there and work perfectly. The inside is clean and in great shape. I bought it from a dealer in 2003 and I am the second owner of the vehicle. It comes from a smoke free home. All maintenance was done at regular intervals and when needed (check the Carfax report). It has a little rust on both front fenders and on both rocker panels (which you can see in the photos) otherwise the exterior is in good shape for a vehicle of this age with no dents or dings. This would be a great vehicle with a used or rebuilt engine installed in it. On 8/30/12 the following repairs were made and I have the invoice.
