1956 Triumph Thunderbird

Triumph 1956 Thunderbird 650 with matching numbers and clear title. This is a restoration project that has been in progress for the last 10 to 12 years and is about 80 to 90% finished. All of the hard work is done, just needs to be finished. Bike does not run, has no fluids. The engine was completely rebuilt. Carb was rebuilt. Reground crank, sludge trap cleaned, new bearings, rebore new pistons and rings fitted. The cyl. head was completely rebuilt new valves, guides, gasket set. Nuts and bolts replated. Transmission taken apart cleaned and rebuilt with new drive sprockets. Has later alternator and rotor fitted with 2 wires part number 54212006. The engine covers are all highly polished as seen in pictures. Seat redone with new cover. Rims are new laced with stainless spokes, new tires and tubes. The fenders were painted years ago, and gas tank is still in primer. I do not have paint name or number, they will have to be matched. The gas tank has no holes, but will need to be cleaned and coated inside. To finish bike, it will need a new exhaust system, wiring harness, cables, gas lines, and gas tank bands. I might have new clutch and brake levers with cables, I will have to look around. Basically what you see in the pictures is what you get.
