1957 GMC 100 Pickup 1/2 ton Inline 6 cylinder 270, 4 speed (granny)NOTE: LOWER RESERVE Than others I've seen Please read ALL information below before bidding. If you have less than 5 feedback, please contact me before bidding. This truck is a great find. If you want to cherry it out, it would not take much to complete it. In the mean time you can enjoy Cruisin' in it yourself as it runs and drives great and everything seems to work. This truck is as close to ORIGINAL as you can get it from the factory. The previous owner started the restoration which included some wiring and a small amount of body work 14 years ago. Motor runs great. All new tuneup. Plugs, points, etc. Transmission and clutch work good. Brakes work but a little soft. Steers and rides great. Title is clear and ready to transfer. GENERAL INFORMATION New style fuse buss Electric windshield wipers, alternator (not a generator) Aluminum wheels with tires 90%. New factory fuel tank and sending unit GMC emblems for fenders included but not installedReal GMC tailgate (not a chevy) Newer wood in bed. Valve cover gasket replaced. Control Knobs for heater will be installed before end of auction NO RUST in bed. Only a small amount of rust in the typical places, but not much. (See pic) Cab floor almost perfect. GLASS: Passenger window has crack near bottom but it still works. Otherwise glass is original and not cracked. Like I said, It seems to as close as you can get to the original factory stock except what might have been mentioned or the following; Exterior: taillights, no metal strips in bed, tires and wheels Interior: Mostly original except some gauges and the seat (Leather from a cadillac). Rust is typical for this year.The last picture shown is of rust is the underside of the door.The area behind the drivers door was rusted out is approximately 4.5" long.
