Vehicle Detail

For Sale in "As Is" condition- NO RESERVE2006 GM Yukon XL 1500 Denali VIN#1GKFK66U86J165917Has recently blown transmissionVehicle is in good shape otherwise and has a Kelly Blue Book value of $12,853 but for the blown transmission.Vehicle has 239,000 miles on it but looks a fraction of its age.All available options includingV8, 6.0 liter EngineAWD DrivetrainAir ConditioningPower WindowsPower Door LocksCruise ControlAM/FM StereoMP3 Multi DiscPremium SoundNavigation SystemDVD SystemOnStarPremium WheelsAutomatic TransmissionAutoride SuspensionTraction ControlStabiliTrakABS (4-Wheel)Power SteeringTilt WheelDual Air BagsSide Air BagsDual Power SeatsLeather SeatsMoon RoofRunning BoardsRoof RackTrailer hitchThe tires are about 20% worn and still have a lot of good miles left in them.Vehicle has been used by one executive employee since new.No accidentsHorrible gas mileage as you would expect, but in its current non-working condition it's getting great fuel economy. If you can locate a good used tranny (try Advance Auto Parts- they sell rebuilt and used transmissions at a very reasonable price) and change the transmission yourself, you can have a great vehicle at a fraction of its blue book value. As already stated, this sale is final and "as is" and the auction is NO RESERVE. No returns or refunds. A $1,000 deposit is due within 48 hours and payment in full is due within 7 days of the close of the auction. On Dec-04-12 at 04:25:55 PST, seller added the following information: You may note on the Vehicle History Report, which looks perfect, that there was record of a lien filing. This was the original vehicle loan from GMAC. That loan has matured and been paid-in- full and we have the original title in hand along with documentation from GMC (ALLY) that the lien has been released. On Dec-07-12 at 04:33:02 PST, seller added the following information: I would like to provide additional information regarding the likely cause of the transmission failure on this Yukon. The executive user told me yesterday that there is apparently a problem with the transmission cooler that is built into the radiator which allowed coolant to contaminate the transmission fluid. This will require replacement of the radiator when the transmission is replaced. The car is driveable but it is obvious that the transmission is not working properly. We have no way to determine whether replacement of the radiator and a transmission fluid flush would restore the tranny to normal, so you should still assume that transmission replacement is required along with replacement of the radiator.
