1976 Triumph Bonneville 750cc T140V, with 1700 original miles. All matching numbers on frame and engine, also has original keys 1 ignition and two front fork locks. This bike was built in October of 1976 and was sold in Mundelein Illinois at a shop called On Any Sunday in April of 1977, I have a copy of origoinal purchase receipt which will be given with bike also there is a Haynes shop manual that will come with bike. I am the 2nd owner of this bike, and I know you might be skeptical of this bike having 1700 original miles, I will stand behind this mileage. A few ways to tell it is original mileage is that it still has original Dunlop Made in Great Britain tires which I still ride on, has original seat in immaculate condition, has all original components and a lot of original hand control stickers which usually fall off, also when carbs were rebuilt there was no wear on internal parts of carb or inside of engine has original rear drive chain sprocket with almost no wear at all, I could go on and on I will just say that the odometer is reading the bikes actual mileage and has not been messed with. The only non-original parts are the front fender and the pipes which is a 2 into 1 Hooker header system, and the new wiring hareness I had installed. This bike was stored very well all these years and has no leaks all seals bearings and components are are working great forks are in excellent shape no dry rotting of any rubber, the bike was always stored on center stand so forks were not always compressed in excellent shape. There is a few small dents on front of tank and some light wear on paint on tank and frame, and rear fender has lost some chrome under seat as seen in pics. Some might be scared of original components but I have no worries taking bike on a ride everything is in nice shape, the tires do have some cracking on sides they are 35 years old. Has two Lucas turn signals that are included but not installed, also has new throttle cable, never installed because I did not need to original works fine, and comes with a new set of exhaust that are accurate to original and a set of shorty Emgo mufflers. The bike has some small areas of rust nothing major it really overall is a beautiful bike. All parts are really in great shape headlight has been flickering though will leave up to buyer to fix that. Has all new bulbs for all lighted areas. I am sad to get rid of such a rare nice bike, so I hope it finds a good new owner in the condition the bike is in it can be a daily rider with no worries, and the low mileage will ensure the bike runs for a long time, really an awesome vintage bike.
