I have been the owner and sole driver of this lightly-driven beauty for several years now. Why Selling? It is driven little these days, always parked in my garage; this fun car is not needed here now and its garage space is needed. The car was brought out only a few times each year, and never parked overnight anywhere out. While in the garage for long periods, and certainly during all of the winters, it was under a Jag car cover and in the garage (cover included). The previous owner was a serious Jaguar enthusiast (had three of these models concurrently in his garage); he spared no expense; while in his possession spent around $40K on genuine Jaguar replacements both cosmetic and maintenance: re-upholstered seats with new leather re-did carpet throughout replaced convertible top and headliner canvas boot cover (for retracted convertible top) replaced sill plates with Jaguar originals two sets of floor mats XJS manuals included, plus various Jaguar/XJS books 2 sets of Keys, one FOB, Remote Start FOB **At my request, the remote start was disconnected at some wire because the car has always been inside the garage overnight. half car cover also included (the one used for the open, cabin area when the top is retracted down) This car has been regularly maintained at Jaguar dealerships, Jaguar-licensed contract and foreign-car maintenance facilities. It has always been garaged while in my possession; brought out on just a few days a year; seen rain but rarely, and NEVER seen snow or winter driving (I think it has heated mirrors, but I would not know) Please see ALL the pictures to see how nice it looks. The last time I wanted to drive it about two weeks back, the starter did nothing, acted like it was not even there. With Ignition On, the headlights, cabin lights etc..came on, but the starter would not try. The battery is new, having been replaced in the Summer, shows full charge. Jaguar service manager says that it could be a simple issue such as a Relay Switch or maybe the Starter or maybe the starter cable; but, don't know exact issue at this time.
