Prior to the Acadia, I drove a 2004 Chevrolet suburban and a Volvo V70, and this has been the best of the three.This Acadia has been the perfect blend of size and maneuverability, both excellent for carrying people (captains chairs in the middle row and a surprising amount of headroom (six foot tall friends are very comfortable in the back seats) and for carrying gear/luggage. The cargo space is equivalent to the back of a Tahoe when the rear bench is down, and allows for multiple road bikes to be carried inside while still using three seats. I added $200 Thule roof racks to the top for additional cargo space.
