We are selling our 1977 Pontiac Firebird Sky Bird. Too start this is a true survivor with original 114,239 miles. The paint, engine, transmission, honey comb wheels are original (never replaced). Color is Lombard Blue exterior and has blue interior, air condition car with the olds 350 motor, this is a colorado car so Pontiac built certain firebirds for california and high elevation dealers with the olds engine also has the optional Hurst T- Tops and the stainless steel dash, factory dual exhausts, this was the first year Pontiac started with the rubber / plastic paint matching bumpers. Interior: Clothe interior blue, with power locks all working, power windows (working), heater, tial lights, lights, wipers, am / 8 track, aircon (kicks on), gas gauge, blinkers, horn, all work. The only thing I am aware of is the Clock has stoped working. Interior is in great shape there is one tear on the drivers side where the left shoulder is (included in pictures) this car has only been driven by a woman uder 90 lbs the seats are in great condtion. Window role up and down real nice and windows line up real nice too. Exterior: Lombard Blue is the color and this is the original paint, car has not been re-sprayed from what I can tell, I am confident enough to say its a true survivor and well taken care of and I dont believe the car has ever been wrecked either. The hood, doors, truck line up perfectly and open and shut with ease. The trim around the door is starting to peel a little and same with trim around the window of drivers side either reglue or replace. Has all 4 of the Blue honey comb wheels and the spare tire. Drive Train: This car has the original / matching #'s motor which is a Olds 350 small block Starts up right away. Pontiac put these motors in for states like california, colorado, and utah for higher elevation areas, with power steering, power brakes, air-con, everything in the engine bay is intact and runs smooth. Auto matic transmission shifter counsel on the floor. The Stuff that needs work: The tires on this car are 20 years old and are the retread style so I would replace them right away, I would wash and wax the car, recharge the aircon, and the radiator has a small leak on drivers side (radiator stop leak might fix it?? If it were me I would just replace it. I purchased this car I believe from the original owners (the title was yellow title from the 70's) the gentleman purchased this car for his wife and she's the one who drove it for 13 years he said on nice days with the t-top off. In 1990 she got sick and they parked the car and she never had drove it since. You can see on the drivers door notes they had serviced the tranny and fluids in the car before parking it. I bought the car about 2 years ago and it has been just sitting around in my heated garage but not driving it ( I have too many) so I am selling a few off to make some space. (I also have for sale and these are not part of this auction a 1969 Firebird 400 Speed, 1998 Trans Am ws6 with 9,700 original miles (has over 700 horse with low boos on LSX motor built). This car is being sold as is its 35 years old! I have put up a very reasonable buy it now and even better reserve price, but remember once the reserve is met the buy it now goes away. Yes the car jack is in the truck to change tires if needed, and I do have the original owners manual (general information), owners manual (operating instructions), Pontiacs Guardian Maintenance Service book, 1977 Pontiac Maintenance Schedule 2, Uniroyal Tires leaflet, 1977 Accessories catalog, and the RCA instructions for the in Dash AM FM MPX Stero Radio with Stero 8 track tape player.On Dec-03-12 at 16:25:18 PST, seller added the following information: I wanted to ad that I have found after looking under the carpet in the trunk that I have found which looking like a patch panel evidence on the right rear (passenger rear quarter) and on the drivers side quarter right behind the rear right wheel there are a couple of bubbles. I have taken pictures of these and any one who wants to see them I can email right over to you. I am trying to be as discriptive as possible. And yes the trunk light works. The shifter counsel has 2 cracks at bottom and incase I did not list this the arm rest pad between the drivers side and passenger side is cracked pretty good.
