Vehicle Detail

In 2006 my good friend and long time Chevy collector, R.C. DeFoor left us. He had 90 cars, it was his request that each family member keep a car. In 2007, I conducted an auction for his remaining collection. This year the family called me and said that none of the cars they kept had been started or moved since 2006. They also felt that R.C, would have wanted them to be used and enjoyed. Earlier this year I listed all cars on E-bay and sold 5 of 9.(Sold, 29 A, 55 Chevy, 49 Chevy, 51 Chevy, and a 23 Buick) This offering will be for 5 cars, 38 Chevy, 48 Chevy, 56 GMC, 78 Cadillac, and a 50 Ford. It will be the last time these vehicles will be offered on line. Each of these cars has been thoroughly checked, new batteries, fuel systems cleaned, brakes systems repaired as needed, and driven only very short distances. All cars are in my possession in the Macon, Ga area. These are all exceptional cars and the individual descriptions will tell you more. I know of no problems, but long term storage can create issues. Contact Bill Bonbrake 478-808-6067, through E-bay or direct 425farms@att.net, you will get accurate and honest information on each. Thanks and good luck bidding. RC loved Fleetlines and had 2 of the nicest. This one in its two tone green is my favorite. this is an exceptionaly solid car, I found no rust or evidence of rust repair anywhere. The body and paint are very nice. Another one of his cars that is loaded with options, bumper ends and guards, including a rear folding center guard, skirts, radio and heater. Bottom side is very solid but could use a good cleaning(this was a driver). The engine and engine compartment are ok but could use some detailing. The interior is very nice, I believe the front seat has been recovered and the rest is original. The car runs and drives good. We cleaned the carb but the tank still has old, smelly gas. the vacuum shift works great. I have driven this one about 2 miles just to check it out. Before any trips the gas needs to be replaced with fresh fuel. There is a National junior badge on the radiator shroud but NO documentation where or when or if it was this car. Overall this is an absolutley great looking car, other then some cleaning time it should be ready to show or drive. No title, Georgia did not issue titles until 1963, you will receive a 2012-13 georgia certificate of registration and license plate which can be converted to a title in your state. On Dec-04-12 at 21:34:54 PST, seller added the following information: New photos added late Tues night, explanations. Several of the bidders wanted bottom side pics, 2 are of the bottom edges of the rear fenders, the long one is the drivers side rocker from the bottom rear. exhaust and undercarriage, engine, color chart showing the colors on car and dash. This is an amazingly solid and nice car, you will not be disapointed. THANKS Bill
