1975 Mercedes Benz 450SL This classic beauty looks good and runs well ... however, this is a "30 something" year old car, thus it does have it's imperfections ... Please note the red arrows on some of the pictures highlighting many of the areas where this car requires a bit of TLC ... the car also needs a few minor repairs. This is my wife's toy (she had it before we met), therefore the information listed below is from my limited exposure to this vehicle ... Please feel free to contact us about the car if you have any concerns or questions ... Understand that this vehicle is not in pristine condition ... this is a car for someone looking for a fun project ... The GOOD stuff: • First impression of this car is WOW !!! ... imperfections not immediately apparent • Car had expensive paint job years ago that still looks awesome (see included pix for hood ding, body scuff mark and chips) • Dark brown soft top in very nice condition (imported from Germany) • Air conditioning converted from older CFC-12 refrigerant to the current HFC134a • Powerful/responsive 4.5 litre engine • 133,036 original miles • Worn leather seats covered with luxurious sheepskin • Hoist included to remove/store hardtop What NEEDS ATTENTION (think I covered most everything ... if I forgot something it was not intentional): • See included pix for small hood ding, body panel scuff mark and chipped paint on hardtop and below window trim • Air conditioner needs new hose and refrigerant re-charge • Turn signals not working (fyi, bulbs and fuse check out okay) • Issues w/drivers side window (gets caught on hard top window trim, power window motor hums) • See included pix for issues w/interior (vinyl trim piece under back window needs to be replaced, spray paint chipping on dash & console)
