Vehicle Detail
- 1969 Mach I Mustang - Unrestored, with original sheet metal - This Mustang is unrestored. The chassis is in extremely good condition, no Frankenstein floor boards, quarter panels, frame sections etc. Please review the pics, I tried to show that all the panels are original and have more if you would like to see them at the web site linked below. The car is solid and quite clean, however has a very old paint job. The paint has many imperfections in it, crazing, cracks, chips etc. which are visible upon inspection, additionally there is some bubbling in the paint at the lower corners of the rear quarters. The bottoms of the doors look great, very clean! Front fenders are very clean! The floor pans look fantastic as do the frame rails front and rear and the torque boxes! The engine bay is clean and free of any rust, including the tops of the fender aprons! The body buck tag is still in place on the radiator support. The original chrome Mach wheels and beauty rings look great. The factory hood scoop’s turn indicators work as they should. Tires look new. The interior is in very nice condition with what appears to be original seat covers. The wood trim is the rare teak wood (not the common Walnut) with the matching rim blow steering wheel still in place. I replaced the original carpet, and found three build sheets under it. Unfortunately, one was totally disintegrated, but I saved the other two. The headliner is in perfect condition. There is an aftermarket radio installed. All the glass appears to be original Car-Lite including the windshield. All other windows are the optional tinted glass, and say Sun-X on them. Along with many years of receipts from the previous owners, I have the original Santa Monica California Ford dealer invoice and documents going back for the past 15+ years. In the receipts I can see the transmission was rebuilt in 1997, and looks like it got a shift kit and stall converter. The engine was rebuilt in 1996 Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Here is the link to more photos: More Photos - click here Here is a YouTube video showing the functioning "Visibility Group" lighting of seat belt light and parking light.
