Up for auction is a rare 1955 first series Chevrolet 3100 and shares the body with the 1954 with a few subtle differences. It has a 355 small block chevy, with a built 350 turbo, and a 10 bolt limited slip rear. It has a lokar shifter on the floor and bucket seats. The truck runs, drives, and sounds awesome. The dual exhaust dumps out in front of rear tires. The truck is pretty solid with no rust or rust holes and seems to be one of the most solid trucks I have seen for these years. I picked this truck up and was planning to finish it out and get it painted for a shop truck, but I have too many cars and projects going into winter. Suspension is nice and tight stock suspension with lowing blocks in the rear and a couple of leafs removed up front. Stops and handles better than most most subframed vehicles I have had or driven. All lights, signals, and brakes work as they should. I have been watching these trucks sell for well over 10k and my reserve isn't anywhere near that. Truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. You are bidding to buy the truck and not to kick the tires.
