No scrubbing occurred prior to taking these photos and no liquid dressing products were applied to the rubber bumpers or tires to make them look shiny. This is simply how the car has always been maintained and cared for. Looking at the car is just like stepping back to the early 1980's. She was purchased new right here in Portland Oregon. Only 2 owners and always garaged. Under 76,000 actual miles. Even all 4 headlights are original. Beautiful condition inside and out. Factory air-conditioning blows cold. The 20R 4cyl engine runs well and the transmission shifts perfectly. A more original and untouched example of a low mileage Toyota Celica would be extremely difficult to find. Like a time capsule. I will make detailed comments under several of the upcoming photos. All of my eBay experiences have been enjoyable over the years as I've sold members of my collection. I'm grateful for the kind words and compliments I've received. My opinions have guided me well and I stand behind them but please keep in mind that these are my personal opinions and observations and they may differ from your own. I personally took every picture you're about to see with my hand-held digital camera. No photo has been altered or enhanced in any way. This is my car and these pictures are true to her in-person appearance. Thanks for your time, DAVE One of the nicest original interiors anyone will ever find. The engine compartment looks like it's still 1980. This is the original mileage reading, NOT a turned over odometer. 75,950 ACTUAL MILES. Heading into Downtown Portland the day I took all of these photos. The car has never been wrecked or in an accident. All glass is very nice. These are the original day-one license plates. Tail lights are crystal clear and appear like new. The 3-tone pinstriping and protective side moldings were added at the dealership when new. There is a little flaw in the center of the door molding. These are the original painted wheels, trim rings and center caps. There is no rust anywhere on the car. Even the lower sections of all body panels are pristine. All 4 original, factory installed, Koito headlights are in-place. Again, it's like stepping back to 1980 when you look at this Toyota. There is no rust or damage on the car. A couple of very small paint chips and a handful of tiny parking lot door dings are all that can be found on close inspection. Any exterior flaw is very minor. The car represents it's age and shows extremely well. The pinstriping was done when new and it's in excellent condition throughout the car. Slight wear showing where the drivers hand would use the door handle and enter but impressive condition. The interior is in outstanding shape. Headliner is MINT. Please notice the side panel under the passenger side rear window. The adhesive they used at the factory didn't stand the test of time. Easily rectified but I wanted to represent the interior as original as possible. The dashboard is MINT! Even garage kept and well maintained Celica's of this vintage had dashboards that cracked. NOT this car. The original dash is absolutely gorgeous. Carpeting is excellent under the floor mats. Even the steering wheel is in amazing condition. Yes, the factory Quartz movement clock keeps EXACT time. The original AM/FM radio tunes stations and plays perfectly. The car has never been smoked in and the ashtray and lighter have never been used. Rear defrost and the air-conditioning blows ice-cold. These plastic sliders were not meant to last. They are both in place on my car. Even the low fuel light works. Entire trunk area is MINT. Once these press-board pieces get even slightly damp they fall apart. They are perfect in this car. Factory A/C. The cylinder head has recently been rebuilt with all new gaskets, etc. The radiator is also new. There are lots of service records that will be provided. The undersides of the car are excellent. I just had the original catalytic converter and muffler replaced. I resisted doing this because it was nice to see the factory components but they were worn and hindering performance. There are typical oil drips on my garage floor due to her age. I have not looked into this minor issue as it did not concern me. The only other mechanical item to mention is a slight bearing noise coming from the rear. Sounds like a wheel bearing. Again, an issue that doesn't concern me but felt compelled to mention these things I've noticed. There is no rust or corrosion anywhere on the car which includes the undersides. I have the original owners manual, warranty/accessories book and some of the past service records for maintenance performed. Also photo'd is the clean and clear Oregon certificate of title. We all either owned one of these late 70's and early 80's Celica's or we knew someone that did. They were wonderful cars which is why I pursued adding this one to my collection. I have enjoyed driving it. It took me back to my youth. Now someone else can enjoy her. Simply a very unique car in impossible to find condition.
