Condition The car is in a fully driveable condition. I am a non-smoker, and I keep the car's interior very clean. You will not be disappointed. The car's exterior has some effects, though not very obvious. There is a thin scratch on the right passenger door caused by someone's side mirror. There are also a couple of dings at the lower right side of the rear bumper. Please refer to the last 2 photos on these effects. There are also some minor scuffings on the wheel trims. The right side mirror has a small chip in it when it was hit by someone. I would leave it as it is, as it isn't obvious and since the electronics on the mirror still work perfectly, but you could fix it for about $250. There could be a slight high-pitched sound when braking occasionally. Mercedes said that the front brakes may need to be changed soon. The rear brakes are fine. They said that it is safe to wait until the brake warning appears on the dashboard. I felt that the braking power was still as good as ever. Currently, there are no warnings or error messages reported by the car's automated diagnostic system. The car passed all safety inspection tests carried out by Mercedes of Pittsburgh in September 2012. Mileage will probably increase by around another 150 miles by the time I handover the car as I am still using it now. History I bought this pre-owned car last August from licensed Mercedes retailer Bobby Rahal. Since then, I have driven only a little over 7000 miles. The 39,000 miles servicing was done back at Bobby Rahal. The next servicing should be done at 59,000 miles, which is still a long way off. All safety inspections were also done at Bobby Rahal. No third-party workshops ever worked on the car before. Therefore, you can be absolutely sure of the car's reliability. Shipping and Payment After the auction has ended, the winner must contact me via email within 48 hours to arrange for the final transaction. The latest date to handover the car is Dec 07, 2012. Please DO NOT bid if you cannot takeover the car by this date. Payment must be made in full either via cash (preferred) or cashier's check. If payment is via cashier's check, it must originate from PNC Bank only so that I could verify it. The final transaction has to be done with the both of us in-person at a local PNC Bank branch in Pittsburgh so that I can verify all cash and cashier's checks. Once the bank has cleared the payment, I will handover the two sets of car keys and sign over the title deed to you in the presence of a notary at the bank.
