Description:This is a 1976 CADILLAC ELDORADO CONVERTIBLE. The Eldorado Convertible model was manufactured from 1971 until 1976 only. This is my third Eldorado Convertible. I just love these cars. I bought it in 2006 from an owner that had owned it over 20 years. He had replaced the alternator, radiator, catalytic converter, thermostat and he did regular, scheduled maintenance. The receipts he gave total over $4,000 and were done around 2002-2003. I will give you these receipts if you want.In 2011 I did another overhaul. The rear window lifters were replaced. Alternator belt, starter, battery, all 4 white wall tires (235/75R15), several hoses, spark plugs, and one external mirror were fixed and/or replaced. Total cost $3,800. The car has been driven only around Los Angeles for the past 6 years. No accidents during my ownership, and none before to the best of my knowledge. Regular maintenance like oil change performed, but the car hasn't been driven more than 200 miles a year since I bought it.The engine for the top works fine but I would replace the top, since it has a small hole in it and the top is showing its age. The rear window is intact but has detached from the top, but the top will still come down all the way. The chrome is all in excellent condition but there areas of surface rust.. No dents or dings on the body that is nice and straight. The hubcaps were all in excellent condition until someone scratched the front right one last month. A new hubcap costs around $100 last time I checked. The AC, clock, cruise control don't work. The previous owner installed a Radio/Cassette player.
