I am listing this car for my wife's uncle. He has owned it since 1987, it has been in Florida and Georgia all its life. It was garaged until about a year ago. The car is in good condition overall. The paint is original and could use a good detailing, it does not need new paint, it is very presentable as is. There are some minor rust spots on the inside edge of the trunk and along the edge of the gas filler, they show in the photos, (the stuff in the trunk does not go with the car). The Interior has sheepskin covers, I looked under them and the leather appears very dirty with some mildew, but will clean up with leather conditioner and cleaner. The dash is cracked. Mechanically the car runs and drives well, the AC blows cold and all gauges appear to work as do the power windows. The soft top is excellent as is the hard top, it comes with a rack on wheels for storage. He does not have garage space for it, so he needs to sell it. This is a good opportunity to buy buy a classic SL at a very low price.
