I would trust it to jump in and drive across the country. The following items have been replaced within the last 6 months: Distributor - $500 Mallory LED Distributor Sparkplug Wires- Mallory High Performance Ignition Coil and spark plugs new. Holley 4 Barrel ALL Front bushings replaced with red Poly bushings. Including the steering bushing by the firewall, as well as rack and pinion bushings. AAAALLLLLL FRONT bushings. New front control arms. Front Tires brand new installed, mounted, balanced, and front end aligned by professionals. New Eibach springs, lowered car, front and rear. New Eibach Thick Swaybars, front and rear. New Strut shock inserts front and rear. Front Brake calipers are brand new 1984 Toyota truck 4 piston calipers, they bolt right on without modification. Brand new Clutch Master cylinder and slave cylinder in last 12 months. Brand new Ultima battery in last 6 months (cost $160) Brand new engine belts, in last 3 months. Alternator upgraded to newer higher output Nissan 240SX alternator setup. AIR CONDITIONING: Blew cold a year ago, but just never use it really, and now it is too cold outside for me to judge. It definitely blew cold when I got it!! :) REAR END: I HAVE ALL BRAND NEW RED POLY BUSHINGS AND OTHER PARTS FOR REAR. I haven't replaced them yet, because the car is fine to drive without doing it. I bought all these bushings and suspension parts new and started having them replaced as I found time to. None of the suspension parts were failing by any means. I was just trying to make the car as near new as possible, for dependability. The rear sway bar was put in near as I detailed earlier, when the front sway bar was installed. I will get a picture of all extra parts as soon as possible, and add it to the pictures. The carpet is 1 year old. All new door rubber weather seals, and hatch seal, as well as front and hatch windows have been put in with new rubber. New headliner. Seats are Corvette seats, with driver's seat having electronic lumber controls etc... BUT I never took time to hook the power up on the drivers seat since I bought the car a year ago. The seats were redone right before I got the car a little over a year ago. The 5 speed is a rare factory option and really nice for saving on gas. I have the center caps for all the wheels but the front wheels need some kind of adaptor or something to make them fit over the grease cap. The car could benefit from a new set of headlights. The headlights that are in the car, are hi output lights but they are old. They still function but I would replace them with new units from Black Dragon Auto. It is an inexpensive upgrade in my opinion. As you can see in the pictures, the hood has three little dings in front, and I also added two pics off the top having a couple little dime and nickle size blemishes. I have gotten many quotes, and to fix the hood and respray it, I was told around $500, if I give them the paint that I have. I have a small amount of the original paint, that was used to paint the car. This car is 95% perfect. It can be hopped in and driven anywhere, or taken to the show. It gets more looks than any car I have ever had and I have had some freaking nice hot rods, muscle cars, and sports cars. I have NEVER seen such fanatical attraction to a car. Be prepared to have people chase you down to find out about the car at least a couple times a month. THE FRONT BUMPER: I recommend a carbon fiber unit. You can find them online. I have an older 240Z or 260Z metal one available as a separate sale, but I really recommend the carbon fiber unit for price and looks.1 The car has 115k original miles and you can tell it was taken care of! All pictures can be seen here http://www.flickr.com/x/t/0097009/photos/90236521@N07/sets/72157632049097233/ I will be adding more pictures of the interior asap. Here is a video I threw togetherhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kArXPRoBlpQ&feature=channel&list=ULalternate link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjmbSzAtUu8 STEREO: I have a new Blaupunkt stereo in with the car. It was in the car when I bought it, but it had 6x9 boxes in the trunk and I wanted to buy original size speakers, and go back to having all the speakers in the stock locations. So the stereo is not functional right now. I am sorry but I never listened to the radio anyway, so it didn't matter to me. I love to listen to the sound of the car when I drive I babied this car, and I never took it over 80 mph. I just enjoyed cruising along in it and constantly getting thumbs up. I am sure you could race it if you wanted to, but I always took it easy because I have 3 kids and a wife to think about. I am lucky I am alive from all the crazy stunts I did growing up. I just started to realize, as I got older, that I am not going to live forever.I will add more to the description soon. Car is offered as-is. No warranties (this car is almost as old as I am for Pete's sake)Deposit of $500 due within 24 hours of end of auction. Balance due at pickup, or within 7 days, whichever is sooner. Clean title is in hand and ready to sign over.
