1958 Ford F-100 LWB Custom Cab Style Side Pick up This is truly a rare find All original and virtually 100% complete one owner truck This is a California truck that spent its entire life in Sacramento, California owned by the same family. Originally registered as a house car not a pickup truck it was outfitted with a Cab Over Camper and used as a recreational vehicle. Later it was registered as a truck and used in the family’s construction business driven only by the owner. It was later retired to the family ranch just outside of Sacramento where we found it where it had been sitting for nearly 20 years. It has a clear California title and we have the original pink slip with a signed attest form stating the original miles are on the odometer from the former owner. It is overall in very good shape considering its age. While it has some minor bumps, bruises and surface rust it is still very salvageable and deserves another life. I have inspected this truck from bumper to bumper, inside and out. It is not perfect it does need work. However having done this work for over 50 years this vehicle is in as good or better condition as most I see. No bondo or other body work found anywhere on the truck. Has original factory Split Rims with original hubcaps. The truck runs very well and could be driven except for the bad gas and corrosion in brake cylinders from sitting for so many years. We start it and run it with an electric fuel pump and gas can under the hood to move it around. This is a onetime auction it will not be re listed. It is being sold with no reserve at a starting bid I feel is extremely low. Please look at the photos and ask questions Condition Truck rolls and steers well, has original paint job, interior is intact with 1 or two minor exceptions. We have removed the seat to clean the truck. We have also removed the gas tank to have it cleaned it will be reinstalled prior to delivery to buyer as will the seat. Also has original round face radio. The body basically is in excellent shape with the exception of the right front fender. All body work in my opinion is minor. The floor of the bed is unbelievably straight no dents or depressions, probably due to the camper sitting on the truck for many years Front chrome bumper as is chrome grill are in very good shape Door bottoms and skins are not rusted out and are in very good condition Has an original stock 3:78 / 9” Ford rear end Complete running original 292 V-8 Engine with 4 Speed Transmission Ignition and door locks work and we have a set of keys. Its Problems Windshield and side windows are broken, stock mirrors have been removed. The original tailgate is missing; however there is a very good tail gate on the truck. Accident damage to right front fender the result of another truck backing in to it 45 years ago. Brake cylinders and master cylinders need to be rebuilt and or replaced.
