THIS VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN KENTUCKY. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS BEFORE BIDDING. Description: You are bidding on one previously owned 2004 Ford Crown Victoria. This has been a Detective Package vehicle. This Crown Vic. was owned and turned in to us by the Kentucky State Police. This is now considered Kentucky State Government Surplus Property. They have asked us to sell it for them on EBAY. VIN: 2FAHP71W54X114745 General: This Crown Victoria is Silver in color and has dark Gray cloth seats and carpeting throughout. There are matching floor mats and they dark Gray also. There are only 144,966 miles on this car. It has the 4.6 Liter Gasoline V8 engine in it. The tires are P225/60R16. There is a full size spare tire with this car. There is NO tire jack. The engine sounds good BUT there is probably a cracked or broken exhaust manifold on one side of the engine. It is a loud leak upon first start up, then as the manifold warms up, it gets considerably quieter. Then you can only hear it under acceleration. There are no drips, misses or rattles. It seems to be smooth running and starts right up. The Transmission seems to shift well and seems to work ok. The Air conditioner does work and gets really cold, and the heater works properly as it blows out where it should and gets plenty hot. The trunk liner is about half gone. The vehicle has a fairly new looking battery on it. DRIVER SIDE: FENDER: There are 8-10 small scratches in the paint and 3-4 small chips in the paint. There is a dent above the tire, on top of the fender. It is about 3-1/2” long x 1-1/2” wide and about 3/8” deep. DRIVER DOOR: 5-6 small chips in the paint and several light scratches in the paint that are mostly up under the door handle (Perhaps fingernails?). 4-5 scratches on up the door between the door window and the windshield. REAR DOOR: A few scratches in the paint and 4-5 chips in the paint also. There is a long scuff mark (approx. 18”) forward of the door handle. There is some Clear Coat finish peeling off up under the door handle. REAR QUARTER: There are couple of chips and a couple of scratches. Paint is coming off of the opening for the fuel fill door. Paint is flaking off up on the “C” Pillar at the seam by the back glass. BACK END: TRUNK LID: Several scratches in the paint and several chips in the paint. There are 2 holes in the trunk lid where KSP used to have 2-way Radio Antennas mounted. Those holes have grommets in them. The lamp that illuminates the license plate is not working. It probably only needs a new bulb. Rear Bumper: It has a lot of scratches on the very top of it. On the driver’s side corner, it must have brushed something. There are a lot of scratches that are about 4” in length and the scratches are stacked from top to bottom. Other than that, it is not torn, ripped, bent or dented, as far as I could tell. PASSENGER SIDE: REAR QUARTER: 3-4 small chips in the paint. Paint is flaking off up on the “C” Pillar at the seam by the back glass. Small dent above the wheel well opening, approx. 2-1/2” long and there is a scratch in the deeper part of that dent. REAR DOOR: There are 2-3 small chips in the paint and 2-3 scratches. PASSENGER DOOR: 3-4 chips in the paint, 1 is under the mirror and 2-3 are between the door glass and the windshield. There are 4-6 chips in the paint of the door molding and a scratch near the bottom of the door in the center. FENDER: Over the wheel well opening are a few dark scuff marks. There are 2-3 chips in the paint. A couple of those chips could be paint flaking off. One of the places is about the size of a dime or smaller. I tried to get a photo of this and the scuff marks. (SEE PHOTO) FRONT: HOOD: There are quite a few chips in the paint and a lot of scratches, from light scratches to heavier ones. There are 2 small dents on the passenger side of the hood. GRILL: It looks to be in good shape. There is NO Chrome peeling off of it, but there is a couple of minor scratches in it. The Cowl (?) around the grill and back towards the hood has a few scratches and a spot of paint that was chipped and gone. BUMPER: It has a few chips in the paint and needs a really good scrubbing. There is about a 6” long scratch on the passenger side and several other small scratches. ROOF: In an area about 4 or 5 inches long above the drivers door there are about 15-20 small chips in the paint on the edge of roof where it closes against the door. Over the passenger side front seat are several long, deep scratches and 2-3 dents. Over the rest of the roof there are only 2-3 other chips in the paint. INTERIOR: Has Tilt Steering Wheel, Cruise Control, Power Door Locks, Power Windows and Power Remote (outside) Mirrors plus they are heated too. AM/FM stereo with the display showing the time. There is a Rear window defogger/defroster, and a Power Trunk Release in the center of the dash. There is an extra interior light in the ceiling. It is one of the big ones that the police use. All 4 windows go up and down properly, BUT you need to know that the passenger front window is slow. It is going to quit working at some point in the near future and will be stuck in, most likely, the down position. The heater works very well and the Air Conditioner gets really cold. The seats are manual seats. They are 50/50 seats and have folding arm rests towards the middle on each seat. The cigarette lighter is missing. The ash tray has 2 cup holders and the cigarette lighter (or where it would be) all in one sliding tray in the dash. There are some stains on the front passenger seat. No rips or tears in the seats, carpeting, floor mats, dash or headliner. The back seat MAY be loose from the mounts. The KSP take it out to remove their 2-way radio equipment and seldom put them back properly. There is a full size spare tire but there is no tire jack. Be sure to look at the pictures. This vehicle was running while these pictures were being taken.
