Up for auction is a very cool 1935 Ford 5 window coupe. The car has a clear Wisconsin title. This car has a nice original steel body and frame. Body is very straight and solid- a little rust around the trunk lid area. Floor pans and trunk floor are all original and very solid. The suspension has been updated with a Super Bell 4" drop front axle with hydraulic brakes. In the back there are Chassis Engineering parallel leaf springs with a 1957 Ford 9" differential. The car has original 1935 Ford wheels with new Ford script Coker classic tires(with special adaptors to fit the 9" rearend). Drivetrain is a 1953 Ford Flathead V8 which has been rebuilt. Transmission is a rebuilt C4 automatic. Shifter and emergency brake are new from Lokar. Both the gas tank and radiator are original from the car and have been flushed and cleaned. The car was also completely rewired to a 12 volt system with a new Powermaster alternator. Headlights are original with new reflectors, turn signals and halogen bulbs. It runs and drives excellent. The car has all new green tinted glass along with a new top insert. The original style interior is in nice condition. Gauges are all new from New Vintage. It also has new heater components in an original heater box. These cars are hard to find in this condition. You could get in this car and drive it anywhere today as it is-it looks nice with great patina. Or the hard work is done and you could build this to a full custom streetrod or back to original.
