You are bidding on a 1979 Alfa Romeo Spider that was mechanically redone several years ago. The car runs and drives like a 1979 Alfa Romeo with the exception that it jumps out of first gear. I recently replaced the motor mounts and the rear transmission mount hoping this would fix the problem but unfortunately it still jumps out of first. The paint was done 3 years ago and is starting to show some signs of fatigue with a couple of spots of wear and some fine cracking on the trunk. The body is solid. There is a small dent in the hood thanks to a recent run in with a large 4 wheel drive vehicle. (see pictures). The convertible top is two years old and was purchased from Centerline Alfa. The rest of the interior has never been touched with the exception of a refinish on the wooden steering wheel about 3 years ago. I also have another 2L engine and transmission from a 1979 Spider that I bought for a donor car. I will give these two items to the successful bidder. Ialso have the radiator, air cleaner and a few other small parts from the donor car that I will give to the buyer. This is a fun little car to drive at highway speed with the top down.
