Vehicle Detail

Kirkham Cobra Roadster KMP 498 Aluminum Thougt it was sold Monday- guy couldn't do it. HIs loss maybe your gain- anyway good luck it is a great care. This is a Kirkham 427 “Cobra” Roadster with all Aluminum body and Stainless Steel Chassis. Kirkham is the gold standard of which all other Shelby Cobra Replicas are measured. KMP 498 was built by me and was my fifth Cobra (butler, two factory fives, an Autokraft) and was made to drive not take up garage space as it currently is doing. This will be the deal of the century. The kit with options is over $75K throw in an original 427, black California License plate, etc. Thanks to the current regime, I will not get close to all that- but my loss will be your gain. Car is in the current “World Registry of Cobras & GT40’s”. Basic Package: Car started out as a Roller from Kirkham Motorsports with most all options: (Aluminum body is standard on Kirkham’s) Stainless Steel frame, SS Sidepipes, 42-gallon tank. I finished it off in November of 2007. Has the standard shocks and brakes. The car is well sorted out with around 7,000 miles. Car only weighs 2,280 lbs with 4 gallons of gas. With an aluminum motor it could be less than 2,000 lbs. I built it very light and tight! Engine & Drive Train: Engine is a 427 Sideoiler with cleaned up low riser heads with Stainless Steel valves and hardened seats. Has a solid custom ground cam with factory adjustable rockers. I topped it off with a Ford factory sidewinder manifold form a medium riser. Engine has ford steel crank, I-Beam aftermarket rods and Arias pistons. Block is standard with one sleeve and crank is standard. It has static compression of around 9.5:1 runs great on any gas. Has a custom “Pro-Systems” Holley carburetor. It will rev all day over seven grand- I built it right and to drive. The engine runs like an electric motor. Tremec TKO .82 overdrive transmission, QuickTime bellhousing, aluminum flywheel. Has the Aluminum Kirkham differential with 3.42:1 gears. Has all the good stuff. Has a fuel return line- I put it in myself along with the new style fuel gage. Has an MSD - Digital box mounted under dash above the passengers legs. The car was a "Roller" from KIrkham- so I made it as much of a “Standard” Kirkham as possible. I wired and plumed as they would have. Has an aluminum radiator catch can mounted on the inner right front fender. The batteries are gel cell and have the Kirkham master mounted on the battery. No full seat harnesses – has the 3in racing belts as supplied by Kirkham. Trunk is the stock SC "Racing" style- yes it does hold water as the "lour" suggests. Condition: Car is serviced and ready to drive anywhere no issues. I have the car listed locally so I will reserve the right to pull auction if I get a bucket load of money. It is a solid car, has low miles, poor Cobra has been a garage queen for two years and it deserves better. Good luck! NOTES: Understanding this is a large purchase I will offer this guarantee-If you are not happy with the car after inspection and within seven days of auction end I will give you your money back-less fees, simple. I want you to be happy. PAYMENT-TERMS: Ask questions no returns unless of course, I made a mistake or you believe I misrepresented the item. I am doing my best. If there is any written conflict between Ebay boiler plate and this unique description- this description will take precedence! Please, $2,000.00 PayPal deposit due at auctions end balance due within 7 days of auctions end via cash or certified cashiers check only (will need to allow CC to clear prior to pick up). SHIPPING: No shipping, I will load on your truck and help out any way I can. If paid for it can stay here for a “Reasonable” amount of time. FEEDBACK: I am a real person not a dealer and have been a member since 1998. I have given bad feedback and received some as well. My feedback rating is important to me, but having a no hassle transaction is even more important. If for any reason you don't feel you can leave me 5 star sellers rating in any category, please let me know before leaving feedback so I can try and resolve the issue. Good Luck Bidding!
