Instant classic. Up for sale 1992 Porsche 968 convertible. I've had this car since 2007, always garaged down in Florida. Recently I sold my condo and transported the car back to Chicago. Drives great, good on gas consumption averaging 29 mpg on the hwy.Since I acquired the car certain parts have been changed; new clutch at 80k miles, all struts have been replaced with Bilstein Firehawk, yes, updated old radio with new Blaupunkt, wired for sirius satellite radio with amplifier in the trunk-- for clear sound. 18" 5 spoke genuine Porsche wheels come with the car, summer tires are about 40-50 % tread left. Most recently new steering rack has been installed-- free off leak. Engine runs strong, lots of torque- (this 3.0L engines are buletproof), transmission shifts smooth, no oil consumption.There are things that need to be fix-- I don't have time to tinkle with it anymore:1. top stopped working automatically-- hand operated only right now2. front windshield is cracked3. some paint scratches-- where someone backed into front.Car is 20 years old, but still rocking.
