Up for bid is my 1990 Mercedes 500 SL Convertible. I have had numerous things done to this car and she is like new. The car runs strong, handles and drives like a dream! I believe the cars handles and drives better then most new cars on the market today. I purchased the car with the intent to keep it, but I recently relocated and don't have the need for it. I would love to see this car go to someone who really can appreciate this classic. This is the first year Mercedes changed the body style on their convertibles and carried the same body type for years. When I purchased the car I was told the car was in a flood, but there is NO signs of any flood damage what so ever, I mean the original carpet is still in the car, the seat bolts have no rust on them, the powers seats work without a hitch. I think there is a possibility that the person who owned the car before I purchased it made a false insurance claim. The only thing left to do on this car is replace the seat covers, as they have a few small tears in them, as pictured.
