Vehicle Detail
An original 1978 Datsun 280Z. This is a well preserved, unrestored car that has always been well taken care of by adults. Always starts, drives solid, shifts well and a cruises beautifully. This car needs nothing and the best thing about it is… EVERYTHING WORKS! Ive been using it as a daily driver since I bought it. I have service documents dating back to 1985. This is a great example of an unmodified Z. Ive owned several Z’s in the past. Im currently putting my time and effort into restoring a 72 Z. Too many cars to take care of. The 78 is a fun car to drive and will be hard to give up. People are always asking me about it. If you want a clean Z to cruise around in or want to fully restore it, this is the car for you. Contact me to arrange a test drive. Exterior - Red. Interior - black 132000+ miles Manual transmission. Shifts smoothly without the annoying chatter. Aftermarket AM/FM/cassette Power antenna Cold air conditioner Working clock No transmission, engine or coolant leaks All 4 tires have less than 7000 miles on them Easily passes a California OBD II smog check Clean title, not a salvaged vehicle 20+ MPG There are a couple of items about the car that may need attention. The driver’s seat needs the upholstery to be replaced along with new cushions to make it more comfortable. The rear bumper has a small dent. There is a small area of rust on the lower rear of the driver’s side front fender about the size of a quarter. The dash is cracked in the usual place but its concealed with a dash cover. The rear cargo area carpet is faded. If you want to completely restore this Z, these small items are easily correctable. For more pictures and videos, please go to http://home.comcast.net/~mullare/site/ Check out these videos on Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRkhuouYwwQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLFN5E3c-cE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qli25L17SO0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGqc6R20l74 I tried to described the vehicle as best as possible.
