Up for grabs is this 1963 Chevy Impala Super Sport Convertible. It has a rebuilt automatic transmission. The frame underneath the car is solid with no issues. The steering,suspension, shocks, brakes, brake lines, gas tank, and fuel line are all new. The transmission was rebuilt and shifts as it should. The body of the car will certainly need some work or replacement sheet metal parts. However, the inner trunk floor area is nice. The convertible rack is also in good shape and just needs some sanding and paint. The Hood is solid and really opens and shuts nicely with no squeaking noise from the hinges. The THREE BLEMISHES about this car are the floor, big dent on the trunk lid, and the passenger side fender's lower section. As you can see from the pictures you are getting a very nice set of bucket seats and a very nice back seat along with front door panels and rear panels. Also, the car comes with the original outer chrome and trim pieces which are all in driver quality condition. All the glass is good except for the windshield as it will need replaced ( Here in Miami the glass and labor to replace the windshield has been quoted to me at only $260 and can be done before the car is shipped or picked up if you would like to add the extra money to the sale price. However the title says 1963 Impala SS and it has the transmission on the floor with bucket seats. I do not know why this is? I was told that back in 1963 you could special order your car as a Super Sport model but with a 6 cylinder? I just wanted to point that out just in case it is a big deal to you. As of now it has a chevy 327 in it.
