Here is your chance to own a part of history. Up for auction is my 1980 Chrysler Snorunner I purchased from the original owner 4 years ago. It had been sitting for 10 years when I purchased it and I started to go through the old carb and instead of rebuilding it- I purchased a brand new one from the snorunner.com website. Every part is still available from this website, as well as still crated, brand new Snorunners. There are several stories as to the history of the snorunner. It was a single ski , narrow tracked "motorcycle for the snow". It was designed to be easily torn down and transported by the removal of 5 pins. It only weighs 72 lbs and is easily moved around. It holds 1.5 gallons of gas that you can ride for hours on end. It has a 134 cc 2 cycle Power Bee engine that makes around 7hp. It has a Tillotson 320a carb. It can easily move a 225 lb adult on hard pack snow. You can buy a less restrictive muffler and thinner head gasket from the website that will help the snorunner make 10 hp. It will run 35 mph with the upgrades. As it stands it will run 25 mph. This unit is in great shape and aside from the usual wear that would be associated with a 32 year old sled, runs great, always starts in 3 pulls or less. Only thing it needs is the track replaced. A new one can be bought from the site above. There are several videos on youtube that shows how well the snorunner moves in the snow.
