You are bidding on a 1971 Pontiac GTO. It has the 455HO and 4-speed close ratio trans,3.55 12 bolt rear end.It is PHS documented.It was made in Pontiac Michigan and sold at Audette Pontiac in Troy Mi on maple rd. It runs great and looks good.Not a show car or trailer queen. I cruise Woodward Avenue in Detroit and Back to the bricks in Flint every year.Check the price spread on this car fair is $14000,average is $33000 and mint is over $40000. The serious Pontiac person knows what this car is. In its day Motor Trend magazine test a 71 GTO with this engine and trans but with a 3.90 axle and it ran 0-60 mph in 6.1 seconds and a quarter mile acceleration of 13.4 seconds at 102mph. Needs tlc to be mint or just enjoy it the way it is. Everyone loves this car!
