Here is a super straight and rust free California Mercedes 380SL roadster convertible. This Benz has never been involved in an accident major or not the body of this car is extremely straigth. No dings or dents of any kind and to top it all the body is free of rust. This is a great 107 chassis candidate to drive around and fix it as you go on. A clear coat was recently sprayed on giving the paint a fresh and new look. This is a 1984 model 380SL so it comes from the factory with the dual timing chain instead of the single one that was in the 81/82 models. This 380 starts right up and has great take off. The engine sounds really good with out any rattling noises nor smoke of any kind. The exhaust might be needing of attention since I could hear a very light exhaust escape noise though nothing to be truly worried. Hardtop is in very good condition and the soft top is in excellent condition. I have not been able to take pictures of the soft top yet since I have been by muself in my warehouse but I will take care of that before the end of the auction. I remember very well that the soft top is in excellent condition. Mechanically this Benz is in very good shape although the interior and some trim need to be either replaced or fixed. I will add more pictures is necessary and or info. This 380SL is located inside my warehouse so I can take more pictures in detailed areas if requested.
