For auction is a 1989 BMW 325 xi. I bought this car on Ebay in June from EMC (http://www.euromaster-cars.com) and am now selling because I am moving to NY and wont need a car. This e30 is very clean and is in exceptional condition. It currently has 202k miles (I bought it with 199k) and has been very reliable. The AWD e30 is a very rare find and is a great car that will last for years to come. Exterior: Overall, this car is VERY clean. Very few nicks, no sign of oxidization/rust and given that this car is almost 25 years old, it’s a 9.5/10. A couple of things I would want to know if I were the buyer: 1) It has an after-market body kit on it, which looks cool but the paint needs to be matched up. This is an easy fix which any body shop can turn around quickly. 2) The car needs new tires and one of the hub caps is missing (but again, both are very easy fixes). 3) All headlights are in good condition, except for one on the front right which works but has a crack in it. 4) The side panel going around the car is black except for the piece on the driver’s side door which is black but has a silver piece on it as well. Again, for a car that’s been around for going-on 3 decades, it’s very clean but a few minor touch-ups would be nice enhancements. Interior: If the exterior is a 9.5/10, the interior is a 9.9/10 and absolutely immaculate. No tears on the seats. No cracks on the dash. No wearing of the seat belts. The AC and heat work, an after-market radio/CD player has been installed. Nothing that shows any real sign of wear and tear other than a 2” tear in the cloth on the sunroof (which is why I give it a 9.9/10). This can very easily be patched up. But again, like the exterior, the interior is very clean.Mechanical: Let me first start by saying the car runs well, is smooth, starts up fine and I’ve never had a problem with it. The only important issue is that the power steering pump doesn’t work and needs to be replaced. You can still drive the car safely and effectively but you simply won’t have power steering. Again, I purchased the car like this and it hasn’t really bothered me though I will openly admit that if I were keeping the car, I would fix the issue. As far as other mechanical issues are concerned, there isn’t much. The brakes are ok but I would have those done in the next 5-10k miles. I would get the hoses replaced because I don’t think it’s been done in a while (the windshield wiper hose leeks). Overall, I love this car and wouldn’t be selling if I weren’t moving. It is in great condition, runs well and has received a ton of compliments.
